Supply Chain - Arizona State

I've known Allen Rodriguez since the beginning of college. From the start I was impressed by his character, kindness, and drive to do good in the world. He's stayed connected through the ups and downs of college and I've seen I'm grow into a young leader. You can trust him I guess.

Finance - Arizona State

His Grandma

Having had the privilege of knowing Allen personally, I can attest to his strong work ethic and dedication to obtaining the goals he sets out for himself. Although above all his most admirable trait would have to be how he values family above all else.

My Hobbies

#

Boy Scouts

As an Eagle Scout in Troop 350, I led a project providing aid to a local American-Somali Refugee Center. It was an amazing success that helped lots of people in need. Serving as Senior Patrol, I honed leadership, survival, and life skills, learning from diverse experiences.

#

Mixed Martial Arts

I primarily train Muy Thai and Dutch Kickboxing but also enjoy practicing grappling arts like Jujitsu and Wrestling. I currently train out of Arizona Combat Sports, where I've honed my skills and passion for martial arts. Its a great source of cardio, but it also sharpens the mind and instills discipline.

#

Chess

I've been playing chess since I was 10 and I've been a student of the game ever since. I've delved into chess, studying openings and theory passionately. I've led my school's chess club as president were we've faced off against other school. My all-time high Elo rating is 1894.

#

Piano

The piano was one of my first hobbies to pick up, and it's been a lifelong passion; I currently serve as my church's organist. I enjoy the Romantic era but appreciate Classical. Mozart and Chopin pieces are my personal favorites to play.

#

Swim

I was probably swimming before I was walking. From racing my Grandma to competing for my high school, I have lots of fond memories. I mainly competed in the 100 Butterfly and 200 IM, my best 50 time was 23.5 seconds.

#

Gardening

What began as chores evolved into a passion. We grow various fruits like apples, tomatoes, oranges, lemons, etc at home. We also raise chickens. Tending to our garden and animals brings me joy and fulfillment. It serves as medication and I take great pride in our garden.

#

Cars

I enjoy automotive work, from engine rebuilds to suspension and even just plain out maintenance. I hope to one day have my own little warehouse as a shop full of cars. My dream car, without a doubt, would be a Skyline GTR R34.
